Chicago Master Casting
4 weeks. 4 casting professionals.
Every casting professional has a unique approach
What's more valuable than time spent workshopping material with a casting professional? Time spent workshopping material with FOUR casting professionals!
Expectations, preferences, and specialties vary from one casting director to the next. Blue Door created Chicago Master Casting as an opportunity for actors to see and hear a variety of different perspectives on their work and on developing and maintaining a career as a working actor.
Over the course of four weeks, select actors will be working with casting professionals on audition technique, as well as prepared material. Students will also have the opportunity for an industry Q&A.
Join Emma Gruhl of the Goodman Theatre, LA Casting Director Brittani Ward, Sarah Clark of Compass Casting, and freelance theatrical Casting Director Catherine Miller for four intensive weeks of training and learning.
