Ever wish there were a really good book you could read to help you understand your scene work, make strong decisions about your characters, and act with intention? Well, there is! And it's called your script! In Breaking Down the Text (To Get To Action), instructor Paul Michael Thomson demonstrates how to masterfully map out a text in ways that lead to believable, playable action. Each week, the class will explore different audition material (monologues, cold reads, scenes) to discover how to implement text-based, action-driven analysis. Let's use the brain to access the heart!
"This is a class for folx ready to work and take their acting to the next level. A fundamental understanding of dramatic structure empowers us as actors to make the strongest, most supported choices, and that's what you'll gain from this class." -Paul Michael Thomson
